A rich face cream for the colder months: what is in ours

When the heating goes on in autumn, we notice the dry air on our skin too. It is the time of year when many of us reach for a richer cream in the evening. Here is what went into ours, and what it does not promise.

The last step of the evening

For us, the cream is the last step of the day. The laptop is closed, the flat is quieter, and for a few minutes nobody needs anything. That is the moment we made it for.

Rich, yet not heavy

Rich describes the texture: a dense cream you can feel on your fingertips. Our Nourishing Cream is rich, yet it does not feel heavy. Hydrogenated lecithin gives it a liquid-crystal structure.

What is inside

Panthenol at 0.5 % and niacinamide at 2 %. Both are well-known ingredients, and we name them with their amounts so you can compare. Rice PDRN, which gives the cream its name, is in it in a very small amount: vegan, from upcycled rice germ. We do not claim an effect for it. Like all four of our products, the cream is fragrance-free, certified vegan and dermatologically tested. The full ingredient list (INCI) is on the product page.

What 30 women said

We asked 30 women to use the cream for 28 days and describe how their skin felt. It is a perception study: it records how skin felt to the women who used it, not a measurement.

28 of 30 said their skin felt hydrated all day.
26 of 30 said their skin felt nourished after applying.
26 of 30 said the cream did not feel heavy.
24 of 30 said their skin felt silky after applying.
24 of 30 said their skin felt softer after 28 days.

Where it sits in our routine
