My skincare shelf followed me from Seoul to Munich. I was born with atopic dermatitis, so skincare was never just cosmetic for me. It was a daily necessity. For years, I relied on a complex, multi-step routine, trying almost everything I could get my hands on.
When I moved here in 2014, a busy new life meant that long routine fell apart. I expected my skin to suffer, but to my surprise, it actually improved.
It turned out four essentials were enough: a non-stripping cleanser, a purposeful care step, a rich cream to lock moisture in, and daily UV protection. Think of these four as your foundation. What you build around them is completely up to you.
